Our Optometrists are trained to manage a wide array of eye emergencies. Eye emergencies include, but are not limited to:
- Eye infections/Red eyes
- Eye injuries (including foreign objects in the eye)
- Dry eyes
- Eye pain and inflammation
- Styes or other eyelid bumps
- Eyelid pain or inflammation
- Flashing lights and floaters
- Sudden change in vision
- Sudden vision loss
Eye emergencies are covered through Alberta Health Care.
